BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Upon issue of confirmation of the booking the Contract is between Mr and Mrs Roy Miller (“ the Owners”) and the person making the booking (“the Client”).  An email will be sent asking for a 25% deposit by Wise [Transferwise] the remainder to be paid 8 weeks before the arrival of the client via Transferwise.

  • Provisional bookings may be not be made but places are usually held at our discretion by telephone, e-mail or fax and the client will be notified immediately we have another enquiry for those dates.  Booking forms to be returned and deposit should be sent immediately on confirmation of availability.

  • A deposit of 25% of the total holiday cost is required via Wise [Transferwise].  On receipt of deposit clients will be notified immediately of receipt by the quickest method.

  • The balance of 75% your holiday payment is due eight weeks before the first day of your planned holiday.  A reminder may not be issued and in the event your payment does not reach us by the said date, we reserve the right to re-let the property.

  • The Taxe de Sejour is a local tax which the owner is obligated to collect on behalf of the commune and is set at 2.5% per adult per night at the end of your stay and a receipt of payment will be given.

  • NO ANIMALS AND PETS of any description allowed without agreement in writing.

  • NO SMOKING  inside the house

  • The RENTAL INCLUDES the following:  Electricity, water, bottled gas for hob.  Cleaning of property.  One set of bed linen for each bed requested.  One hand towel and one bath towel  for each client not to be used outdoors.  Two toilet rolls in each shower/bathroom.  Cleaning chemicals and equipment, washing machine and dishwasher.

  • The RENTAL EXCLUDES the following:  Wood for wood burner which is only supplied at Christmas.  If used during low season there will be an additional charge. Pool Towels.

  • Electric Vehicle  Charging - prohibited. Local EV charging stations can be found in Monflanquin and Villereal.

  • CANCELLATION BY THE CLIENT

  • In the event of cancellation within 8 weeks of holiday you become liable to pay the full amount of the total holiday cost..

  • The Client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and to have full cover for the party’s personal belongings, public liability etc., since these are not covered by the Owners’ insurance.

  • Refunds of amounts paid can be made at the owners discretion only if the Owners are able to re-let the property and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount.

  • CANCELLATION BY THE OWNER

  •  In the event of a double booking resulting in the accommodation not being available then we will refund in full any monies paid.

  •  In the event of cancellation by us at any time prior to the start of the holiday the deposit and any other monies paid will be refunded in full.

  •  We will not be liable for any consequential loss you may suffer or to pay any compensation to you.

  •  ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE                The time of arrival is Saturday after 4.00 pm.

  •                                                                          The time of departure is on Saturday before 10.00 am. 

  •  CLEANING, NUISANCE AND RUBBISH

  •  The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take good care of the Property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period. 

  •  The Client agrees not to act in any way which would cause disturbance to those living in neighbouring properties.  This includes quietening down between 11pm and 8am and no large parties with additional guests or loud music without permission from the Owners.

  •  The Client agrees to dispose of all recyclable waste in appropriate communal bins before departure.

  •  THE OWNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE CLIENT

  •  for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the property, garden or swimming pool.

  •  for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owner.

  •  for any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the Owner shall, within seven days of notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.

  •  Any complaints, defects in the Property, breakdown in the equipment, plant, machinery or appliances at the Property should be made immediately or as soon as reasonably possible to the Owners or caretaker in order to give us a chance to rectify the situation.

  •  In every case the complaint must be notified before departure.

  •  It is specifically agreed by the Client that failure to notify a complaint immediately or as soon as possible and before departure will entitle the Owners to refuse to entertain the complaint, irrespective of its merits.
